I am an IT leader with over 20 years’ experience working in a variety of different industries including clients in education and private schools.

My technical experience is extremely broad covering all major technical vendors around common infrastructure technologies, focusing on Windows and associated software, and also including other disciplines, networking, VOIP, Databases, programming, storage and AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

While my technical experience, I am far more passionate about assisting businesses getting the best from their IT whatever and creating long term strategic plans.

I believe that technology itself is only an enabler and my focus is on utilizing IT systems and skills to streamline business processes and maximize employee productivity..

I take great pleasure in building and developing employees, finding that to be the most important part of any IT department.

I have recently published my first book “Becoming King of the Nerds” which is a personal opus on my thinking regarding IT departments and developing IT team members to create IT teams that work efficiently and effectively within organisations.
